Personal Data Processing Policy
Article 15 of the Political Constitution of Colombia establishes that all individuals have the right to their personal and family privacy, as well as to their good name. The State must respect and ensure the protection of these rights.
Likewise, individuals have the right to access, update, and rectify personal data held about them in databases or records of public or private entities. The Constitution also requires those who collect, process, and circulate personal data of third parties to respect the rights and guarantees it outlines when handling such information.
The right to honor is a protected right that ensures individuals are afforded appropriate respect and consideration within society.
The right to privacy is a human right that allows individuals to exclude or deny others access to knowledge about their personal lives.
At Turismo y Transporte Cafetero, we are committed to complying with national regulations on the protection of personal data and to respecting the rights of data subjects. In line with these principles, we have developed a Personal Data Processing Policy, which is mandatory in all activities involving the handling of personal data. This policy is binding for the company, its employees, and contractors.
We guarantee the secure reception, transmission, and processing of our users’ personal data both nationally and internationally, in accordance with our mission-related and support activities, corporate bylaws, business purpose, and applicable legal regulations. This includes the proper handling of inquiries and claims made by data subjects whose personal data is processed by the company.
