LONG HIKE (8-9 hours)
On this day, we will venture into one of Colombia’s most awe-inspiring natural landscapes — the Andes Mountains, a place filled with life, mystery, and home to the world’s tallest palm tree: the wax palm.
We will embark on an extended 5-hour hike through a stunning ecosystem shaped by Amazonian, volcanic, and indigenous influences. Along the trail, you will pass natural springs, walk through deep forest, visit a hummingbird reserve, and complete the Acaime mountain circuit around the Cocora Valley — all accompanied by a private bilingual guide. To finish the experience, we will visit the iconic town of Salento, where colonial architecture, bohemian coffee aromas, and artisan shops await. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the town’s local gastronomy and vibrant culture.
