You will start by breathing the fresh air of the Cocora Valley, a natural sanctuary where the mist often embraces the towering Wax Palms, the national tree that imposes its height over the Andean landscape. This setting invites you to walk slowly, observing how the green of the mountains blends with the sky. Just a few minutes away, the atmosphere changes as you stroll through Salento; there, the bahareque architecture and the vibrant-colored balconies along Calle Real frame an understanding of the culture of traditional towns, amid handicrafts and the constant aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
Finally, the sensory journey takes a turn toward deep relaxation at the Santa Rosa de Cabal Hot Springs. You can immerse yourself in medicinal waters that spring from the earth, while an imposing cold-water waterfall descends from the mountain, creating a unique visual and thermal contrast. It is the perfect moment for the body to release tension, surrounded by native vegetation and the natural steam that envelops this corner of Risaralda, allowing a real connection with the volcanic force of the region.
